Danielle Bays
Washington Humane Society Community Cat Programs Manager
When Danielle moved into her house in 2008 she realized a large colony of unaltered cats lived next door and got busy trapping. That eventually led to a full-time job with WHS’s TNR program. Danielle has spent the last two decades advocating for all types of animals, working for HSUS, Farm Sanctuary, WSPA and Animal Protection of New Mexico. She holds a BS in Animal Science from Cornell University and a Masters in Animals & Public Policy from Tufts University. She lives with two dogs and two cats, one of whom was the first kitten she ever trapped 13 years ago.
