Christine has extensive professional experience in the animal protection movement. Before obtaining her law degree, she worked as Research Director for the New England Anti-Vivisection Society, and was the manager of the Ellen Gifford Sheltering Home for Cats in Boston. She co-founded the GREY2K USA Education Fund in 2001, and since that time has written a ballot question and state legislation to prohibit dog racing in four states, leading to the closure of twenty-dog tracks nationwide. A long-distance runner all of her life, she has competed in seven Boston Marathons. Christine enjoys spending her free time with four rescued cats and her greyhound Zoe.
